VOGUE AUSTRALIA Sept 2024 - Featuring Veiled Beauty Wedding Gown Alterations
Shylah May Farrow knew who the man she would marry was very early on. In fact, the influencer and model, then Shylah May Eades, had not yet even properly met Travor Farrow before she decided she was going to marry him. “Trevor was speaking at a community event in front of hundreds of people and took my attention immediately,” Shylah says to Vogue, “I didn’t know who he was, and he didn’t know who I was, but it was love at first sight. I think I told everyone after that event that I was going to marry that man.”
The two met in the US college Greek system, known for its fraternities and sororities. Both were attending San Diego State University, and it took Trevor approaching Shylah at a party a year after she first saw him on stage, to get their relationship underway. Shylah tells Voguethat when Trevor approached her, it felt like she was meeting her celebrity crush. It didn’t quite go to plan. Shylah is reluctant to mention exactly what transpired, but notes “what transpired after it was even more beautiful than I could have dreamed of.”
While it was an Italian-inspired hotel the couple were engaged at, it could be nothing short of the real thing when it came to the wedding day. And so Italy it was.

OLD WORLD CHARM Collaborative Styled Shoot - Featuring Veiled Beauty Blush Tulle Wedding Veil
From Beatrice, the photographer:
The beauty of design is that inspiration can be drawn from anywhere: a single source, a tone, a pattern, a location, or a theme -to name a few. Our inspiration for this bridal shoot was drawn from a color which proved to be the foundation of our entire design.
In keeping with the femininity of the aesthetic of this bride, we also captured her in the softest shade of a blush tulle skirt and matching veil. It was topped it off with ferns and blooms to bring our villa garden concept to life. For the bride who loves old world charm, with a twist of modernism!

Winter doesn't always mean dark, rich jewel tones. What we love about winter wedding style is the myriad of color options and looks that we often see and today's feature is an ethereal beauty filled with lots of white! Photographer Becky Schwartz captured the almost frosty look so well and Rae & Mooredreamed up the prettiest details. Perhaps one of our favorite things would have to be the insanely beautiful Susie Saltzman ring and the enchanting Leanne Marshall gown with all the movement....

Hawaiian Sunset Collaborative Styled Shoot - Featuring Veiled Beauty Cathedral Lace Juliet Cap Veil
From photographer Kerry Langel: "The ocean and the sea have always captivated my imagination and I wanted to put together a small elopement styled shoot to capture the wild beauty that is the North Shore of O'ahu. The main piece I knew I wanted was the gorgeous Juliet Cap veil from The Veiled Beauty. It's not often that you see this style of veil used in beaches weddings, but I knew it would be the right fit to add an air of old world elegance to an otherwise tropical location.

DIANDRA DOUGLAS’ DRESS WAS KAT’S FIRST GOWN - Featuring Bridal Alterations / Wedding Dress Tailoring By Kat Krafel
The first couture dress I ever cut into was Diandra Douglas’ (Michael Douglas’ Ex Wife.) Elizabeth Fillmore gown. She had a dress disaster and came to me to transform a sample dress into a size 0, three days before her wedding! With shaking fingers and trembling lips I delivered her dress to her Montecito estate the morning of her wedding with just hours to spare. I followed Diandra around as she did this and that for about two hours. We toured the estate as she introduced me to gardeners and servants, we received a Buddhist blessing, she sorted out family mishaps between her son getting a ride to the wedding and she picked up her diamond crown from her safety deposit box at the bank before she ever tried on her potentially fitting wedding dress! With nerves on edge I finally breathed a sigh of relief as I zipped her into her perfectly sculpted gown for the first time!
- Kat Krafel
P.S. She invited me to the wedding and since I hadn't slept in a few days I turned her down on the offer... biggest regret of my life. Aaahhhh!!! I wish I could turn back time!!!
